[net.sport] Request for Info on Baseball/Basketball/Football Farm Club Systems

To All Knowledgeable Baseball/Football/Basketball Fans:

	I am interested in finding any and all information on the following
topics:

	1.  The history of baseball's farm club system.

	2.  The current legal and business relationship between the 
	    major league baseball teams and their farm club systems.

	3.  Professional football and professional basketball player
	    training systems (if any) that are independent of the
	    programs run by colleges and universities.

	4.  The player draft systems for baseball, football, and
	    basketball.


	Pointers to books or just personal knowledge would be greatly
appreciated.  I am preparing a study contrasting the current structure of
professional baseball and its player training system with that of 
professional football and professional basketball - if those sports may
be said to have player training programs independent of the college and
university programs.

	A copy of my remarks on the topic will be forthcoming on the net.
