I heard on the radio this morning that Howard Cosell would no longer be doing Monday Night football. He thinks it's time he started cutting back at age 64. Good for Howard! Maybe when the ratings for Monday Night Football go up, ABC will convince him to not just cut back but cut out! Scott Thompson

Well, there goes the fine rating for CBSs Monday Night Football on radio. We can all turn the volume up on our tvs again. Just think, what a great way to conserve energy. All those radios not using up energy on Monday nights. They should give ole Howie a plaque or something for such a great contribution to conservation. T. C. Wheeler
