I forgot to mention, but when the winner of the domestic cup competition is already in the European Cup (either as holders or League champions), then the runner up in the Cup final will be invited to the Cup Winners' Cup. In England this year there is a chance that both finalists will be invited to the European Cup, Liverpool as Cup holders (if they win the final), and Everton as the League champion, if they hold on. I do not know what would happen then, but I have two ideas: (1) They take Manchester United, as the better losing semi-finalist; (2) They take the team that lost in the semi- finals to the Cup winner. Any ideas?
