[net.sport] net.tennis anyone?

My apologies to all uninterested.

This is my second attempt at setting up net.sport.tennis.
The first suggestion was made in net.news.group and net.sport only.
The response was positive (~6 "yes" votes and no "no"s) but
not massive enough.
  My feeling was that idea did not fly due to relatively low readership
of these two groups and wintertime hibernation.
This time US Open agitation plus population of net.singles should do it.

Tennis deserves a place of it's own. I think 25-30 votes should
persuade G.Spafford.
                     Among possible topics:
* Equipment					* Tatum O'Neal's backside.
* Biomechanics,techniques,strategies		* Play-by-mail tennis??
* Health tips * "Court chatter"
* Boris Becker's future				* McEnroe's manners
* Equal pay for women * whatever you care to discuss

For the love of the game - vote!
Send it to almighty Spafford (gatech!spaf)(?) or me (ihnp4!ihlpm!cher).

That noble typing effort almost depleted my abilities.
Please follow up only to net.news.group and net.sport.

    Although "singles" does have a tennis-related meaning, I don't
think it is the meaning referred to in "net.singles".

I too tried to send mail, but it failed.

Another yes vote for net.sport.tennis (or net.tennis).
