Alain Prost did not want to race in South Africa. However, should
he have refused, McLaren would not have allowed him to race in France
(his home circuit) next year. .... Keke Rosberg spun early in the race
for the second time in a row, but battled back to second place. ...
CBC did not carry the race although it had earlier pledged same-day
coverage of all F1 races. ... Newspaper coverage almost non-existent
this week, too.
