New information:

Australia has won the Oceania group they now play
Scotland in a two-game series, the winner advances
Either Holland or Belgium has qualified by now (don't know which)
Either Japan or South Korea has qualified by now (don't know which)
Either Peru or Chile has advanced to play either one of Paraguay or

* The Holland or Belgium one is still unanswered.

* South Korea defeated Japan 2-1 in Tokyo and 1-0 in Seul thus qualifying

* Chile defeated Peru 4-2 in Chile and 1-0 in Peru; Paraguay defeated
Colombia 3-0 in Paraguay and lost 2-1 in Colombia but adavances because of
the goal difference.
The Paraguay-Chile game finished 45 minutes ago and Paraguay won 3-0.
The game was shown live on SIN (the spanish TV network in the US). The second
game will be played next sunday (11/17) in Chile and will also be shown
live.
SIN will also broadcast the France-Yugoslavia game from Paris next saturday
11/16 at 4 PM. This game and the Bulgaria-East Germany game (to be played
simultaneously) will determine who qualifies in that group (besides Bulgaria
who already qualified). Thus, by next sunday there will be another 2 countries
going to Mexico, leaving only 5 open slots.

The 2nd game of the Holland-Belgium playoff is to
be played in Holland on 11/20. Belgium won the first leg
1-0 last month.
