I've recently heard rumors to the effect that the Brazilian National soccer
team "Selecao canarinho" will be on tour through Eastern, and Western Europe
durind the late april, early March, of next year timeframe.
Does anybody out there know about this ?. Can anyone confirm, deny, or update
this rumor ?. I am a fanatic Brazilian soccer fan and I get frantic if I think
I'm misssing out on something. Last update I have is that the team is rather
discredited at home due to poor performance during the last qualifying rounds
and due to key injuries (Zico, and Socrates). If I remember correctly, the
1970 (World Cup Champion) team, at the time, left the country to dispute the
tournament under similar circumstances. So, there is still hope left for a
fourth Championship. Can anyone add to this ??.
Like they say in Rio: "Pra frente Brasil, salve a selecao".
