[net.unix] UNIX Word Processor sought

ki@linus.UUCP (Kevin Ilsen) (01/03/84)

I'm looking for a wysiwyg ("what-you-see-is-what-you-get") word
processor which runs under UNIX System V on a VAX. Please send
serious recommendations only. Thanks in advance.

The XED word processor demo I had a year ago was very impressive.
It has interactive spelling, footnotes, templates, data entry,
typesetter interface, lots more that I don't care to type. Con-
tact them at:
        Computer Methods Ltd.

Our company, Onyx Systems, is almost ready to release our own
word processor as part of our computerized office software for
those of you with an Onyx computer.

"The XED word processor demo I had a year ago was very impressive."

Please note that seeing a demo (*what* the system does) can be quite different
from actually using the system (*how* the user has to produce those results).
