Please settle a debate here at work:

What was the first Rock & Roll band to incorporate a saxaphone
in a song ?

I don't know the exact answer, but I guess the answer is: the first
Rock and Roll Band. Saxes (tenors in particular) were the macho
instruments in early rock, becasue of the influence of rhythm'n'blues.
The guitar started edging out the sax after boys discovered that
girls were impressed and excited by Elvis and whatever, huh,
attachments he had on

If I remember correctly, Rock Around the Clock by Bill Haley and the Comets
has a saxaphone solo.
