I recently received a flyer in the mail advertising the "S1" operating system. It stated "Unix is a dinosaur" and "MS/DOS and CP/M are toys". Can anyone provide any info on this, as I've never heard of this O/S before.

/**/ There's an article in the April '84 Unique called "The Truth About S1". The author went to see a demo, and they didn't have much of anything running. The founder of the company is a marketeer; I don't recall if he had much computer experience or not. Anyway, I recommend the article (and Unique in general). Unix is good enough for me, even if it is a 'dinosaur'. I wonder what OS/360 is? A eukaryotic bacterium? A fern? -- ...!tektronix!uw-beaver!uw-june!cwc
