We (Informatics General Corporation) are currently developing software to link numerous UNIX systems together over a HYPERchannel LAN (under contract to NASA for the Numerical Aerodynamic Simulation Project). We would appreciate any information which anyone could give us about testing and validation software (either public domain or purchasable) for: - UNIX system services and utilities, for both AT&T UNIX and BSD UNIX - HYPERchannel (all levels) - generalized network testing - C compiler validation Feel free to send responses directly to me if you wish (no reason to bother everybody). [-------------] If anyone has information on reasonably good word-processors and office automation software packages running on unix workstations, please let me know with your comments, experiences, etc. Specifically I am interested in wordprocessors similar to MicroSoft Word, WordStar, MacWrite, and graphical tools such as Lisadraw and Macpaint. If any workstations use pointing devices such as mouse, please include that information. Ashwin Shah c/o Robert Rother sdcsvax!rmr
