Just to clarify something that my collegue Jym Dyer said in a recent posting -- there are about two dozen "Unix tools" included in the Decus C distribution (Decus 11-SP-18), including sort, grep, and lex. These were not ported from Unix, but were implemented from scratch using Unix documentation and Bell Labs technical memoranda as references. Martin Minow decvax!minow
