T E C H N I C A L W R I T E R S W A N T E D F O R U N I X* S Y S T E M D O C U M E N T A T I O N __________________________________________________________________________ AT&T BELL LABORATORIES needs writers for a new group in the Computer Systems Software Division located in Summit, New Jersey. This group will produce documentation to accompany public releases of Unix system software, and will tailor those documents to meet the needs of various types of users. UNIX system users vary widely in their computing needs and computing expertise. We will produce the appropriate level of documentation for each user. Writers will work closely with software developers and human factors personnel to plan and execute this project. Specific tasks include document definition, planning, writing, editing, and testing. State-of- the-art UNIX system tools will be used in all phases of documentation. Qualified candidates should have UNIX system experience and undergraduate or graduate training in writing or communications. Relevant work experience is a definite plus.
