[net.unix] cat -v considered harmful, more, and ptys

This raises the question: what about writing a pager which uses ptys
much like script of 4.2 BSD does? Then you wouldn't have to hack
the kernel to get the exact paging behavior one wants.

Of course if it caught on the efficiency of the system would go down.
