Posting product announcements is a very worthwhile use of the net provided:
1) the product is truly new, and
2) the product is available immediately or *VERY* soon, and
3) the announcement is brief
If these criteria are adhered to, the announcement becomes more a news item
than an advertisement. Now, if I can save moey by purchasing one of these
new products (or if I can get something more quickly), the value of the net
to those in the administration is now much greater and easier to justify.
