Does anyone know anything about SEL UNIX? In particular, how well integrated with their real time operating system? We're building a simulator and we'd like to use UNIX, but we don't want to compromise the simulator design (it has to be real time) to get around UNIX real time problems such as no fixed priority scheduling. We have a MASSCOMP, but it's too slow. I've heard about Charles River Data Systems but suspect that a 68000 doesn't have enough cycles to do the job. SEL has a nice simulation architecture but I wouldn't be caught dead developing with their software, until they got UNIX up. I've heard it's a Berkeley 4.2 port, but would like to hear from someone with experiance with it and an unbiased viewpoint. Thanx in advance.
