From: timos@ucbingres (Timos Sellis) I am looking for information on a software package which enables UNIX users to work with ISAM structured files. I have heard about a package called "C-ISAM". Any information on the company or the product would be appreciated. Also if you are aware of any other product which supports similar ISAM files in UNIX please respond to this account. Thanks timos (timos@berkeley)

Relational Database Systems, Inc., markets a product called 'Informix' that uses c-isam. It seems to work fairly well, and is easy to learn and use. There's a library of functions that go with it, which I believe RDS is about to expand, if I'm not mistaken. The address is: Relational Database Systems, Inc. 2471 East Bayshore Road, Ste. 600 Palo Alto, Calif. 94303 (415) 424-1300 The people are generally pretty helpful, at least when I've called for help or reported bugs to them.
