[net.unix] sockets in SysV2

Has anyone spent time thinking about porting sockets to
SysV2?  Excelan has spent some time giving a socket interface
to their board, but I'm interested in a more generic socket
port.

Word is that the AT&T UNIX developers are "looking hard at
sockets".  This does not mean that they will necessarily
provide them in the same form as 4.2BSD.  In particular,
there may be some difficulty in providing both sockets and
stream I/O in the same system.  Stay tuned..
