[net.unix] Expensive issue --- an alternative?

sde@Mitre-Bedford (11/28/84)

How about asking for the year in microfiche? If it exists it could turn out
to be about the same as the one issue and take up less space.
University Microfilms &/or Bell & Howell might be places to inquire.

I took a look at the BLTJ issue on Unix. Interestingly enough,
Bell allows copying as long as the copyright notices, etc. are left
on the copies. This is probably the cheapest way of getting the issue --
I doubt everyone wants their own copy of "Unix for the 370" and such.
Even without selective copying, it will cost about $19.00.

David (sde@Mitre-Bedford) asked about the Bell System Technical Journal.

There are other oledr volumes available too, but you get the idea.

if you elect non-silver microform. (but they aren't as permanent)

Warning-- This is from a two year old (pre AT&T break-up) catalog.
