[net.unix] termcap for Raytheon word processor?

<who said programmers are superstitious ? >

	We need a termcap for a Lexitron word processor. This
sucker is made by Raytheon, and to talk to an HP-9000 it runs
an "Async Ascii" program (also from Raytheon). But no clue as to what
terminal it might be emulating. Anyone out there have a termcap, or
failing that, any helpful suggestions?

Garret,

     We have a dozen or so Lexitrons at our activity which use the
"Async Ascii" program. As far as I can tell, the package emulates a generic
dumb terminal. There are some significant problems with coming up with a
termcap that works properly. From my exposure to it, the problem is basically
that the codes that the word processing software uses for its functions are
not implemented at all in the "Async Ascii" program. The best way to get it
to act like a real crt terminal is to get a newer terminal package which
is available as a VT100 emulator. I'm not sure what the price is, but I'm
positive your sales rep would just love to sell it to you.
