[BSTJs?? We don't need no stinking BSTJs!] First of all, thanks to all the people who sent me phone numbers for the various ways to contact Bell about the journal. I talked to someone at their "outsiders" circulation desk ( (201)564-2582). What I wanted to do was subscribe for a year and have it start with the October issue (I figured for $35 for a whole year vs $27 for one issue, I could be interested in what they do in other issues, what's $8 when you're spending $35, right?). Well, they told me I could not subscribe now and have my subscription include that one. No way, no how. Guess you have to know when they're coming out with one if you want to get it through subscription. I'll just have to break down, I guess. Then again, I could just wait for one to circulate around here, that'd show 'em (sure it would). Maybe I should ask them if I can bill it to my calling card! -King ARPA: ables%cyb-eng.UUCP@ut-sally.ARPA UUCP: ...{ctvax,gatech,ihnp4,nbires,seismo,ucb-vax}!ut-sally!cyb-eng!ables

I plan on checking that issue out from the library, copying it from cover to cover, punching holes in the result, and slipping it in one of my three-wing binders. If the BSTJ people are going to get obnoxious about their publication, so can we. -- Rich Kulawiec @ Purdue C.C.
