Folks- Well, this IEFBR14 stuff is interesting, but I once wrote a program called IEFBR15. I hereby invite guesses as to its principles of operation, function, and purpose (yes, it DID have a purpose!) -Ken Sloan p.s., with all due modesty, I must report that it assembled and ran correctly the first time; no bugs were ever reported.

Back in the days when security was not an issue, we had such a IEFBR15 type program which was installed as an SVC. By pointing R15 to user code and then issuing the SVC, one could enter supervisor state.
