Sorry for the vagueness of the previous question about ed under Ultrix. The problem that I have encountered is the documented commands "z" and "n" are not recognized by the editor. Any reason why ?? -Larry. .

At least it's not DEC's fault. On our 4.2BSD, /bin/ed doesn't understand the "n" command either. I use /usr/5bin/ed myself..
