A friend who wishes to remain anonymous mentioned that his company's lawyers actually got AT&T to decide that yacc output was not AT&T property. As this information is certainly a competitive advantage (if no one else bothered to get their lawyers to do this), I can't mention the company either. Moral: Get your lawyers to talk to theirs. Issues like this are best settled by similar types in both companies. Wizards, while useful, are out of their depths on this one. wz -------
