A friend of mine has bought an inexpensive unix box (68k) that comes
with 4 rs232 ports. He would like to hook an inexpensive rs232 printer
up to it. Once upon a time I tried to hook up an epson printer with
both of their rs232 adapters and had no luck. My understanding is that
some of these printers are fine for centronics interfaces but are
seriously lacking in rs232 interfacing. So I would like to hear about
something that you know that works. I had a lot of success with TI840
printers a year or so ago but I understand that they discontinued them.
