Salute to GNU !! Here on the ARPAnet, I think we oughta have a public repository for GNU code in the manner of SIMTEL-20 for CP/M. Once we pass critical mass, this could be a great source of golden programs. Unfortunately, I cannot offer my own site ... (a) we don't allow anonymous FTP, (b) we have very limited filespace, (c) our umbilical cord is only 9600 baud. The preferred packaging probably would be "shar" files. / Lars Poulsen Advanced Computer Communications <LARS@ACC.ARPA> ------

It is an arpanet site, and we do allow anonymous ftp. -- Nicholas Horton System Manager Cambridge, MA Aiken Computation Lab UUCP: {genrad,cbosgd}!wjh12!horton {seismo,ihnp4,allegra,ut-sally}!harvard!horton ARPA: horton@harvard BITNET: HARVUNXH%HORTON
