Over a week ago I mailed a file to a user at ..ihnp4!stolaf. This file was large, about 30k. Unfortunately, I misspelled the user's name, which, of course, caused the MAILER-DAEMON there to return a copy of the letter to me. So far, so good. I sent another copy with the correct username. Unfortunately, ..ihnp4!stolaf's MAILER-DAEMON won't forget about the original. About four times a day I get copies back (30K each!!), with a note saying that they couldn't be delivered. This is becoming rather annoying. I have tried to contact ..ihnp4!stolaf's system administrator, but he doesn't respond to mail, nor does he answer his telephone. The original recipient of the mail DID respond, but only said that he'd tell the SA about the problem. Still no response from the SA. If *ANYBODY* out there has any ideas on how I can get St. Olaf's College in Minnesota to respond to the problem, please tell me!!! I have run out of ideas on how to get the attention of St. Oaf's system administrator, without resorting to 'jamming' tactics. In the meantime, the mail keeps piling up... I sorely regret the aid I gave to the user at stolaf. I doubt that I will be so ready to offer help in the future. -- Bill Swan {ihnp4|decvax|...}!uw-beaver!tikal!persci!bill
