Please forgive me if you don't agree that this is the proper news group for this but... We am looking for source code for or ideas from existing software packages that we here at NADC are calling "multi-user appointment books". Such software allows a user to look into another user's appointment book (the actual "book" may be a single system-wide file) and find an open time for an appointment. Then the user can fill in a time when he/she would like to make an appointment with the owner of the appointment book. There are some existing micro system software packages that do this in a file-sharing environment, I am told. But we are interested in source code or implementation ideas since we want to put this package on a mainframe. Any ideas? We are interested only in packages that currently exist.
