=================================== We are in the process of trying to implement a software environment that consists of the following existing components: 1 VAX 11/780 running Ultrix (V1.1) 2 VAX 11/785 running SV_R2 (AT&T System V release 2.0) 9 SUNs (2.0, with NFS) We would like to implement some kind of software maintenance system using SCCS as the back end that would enable us to edit and maintain files across all the machines. Doing an SCCS based system on a single machine isn't much of a problem, also, if the network is transparent to the machines (as with NFS or RFS), again - no problem. However, NFS is new and not available for SV_R2 and RFS won't be here for a while.
