I have been trying to get hold of jwp@uwmacc.UUCP to give him some information he requested on info-unix message 3386, 13 sept 1985. All I keep getting is '550 jwp@uwmacc.UUCP... Host unknown' errors. I also tried it without the '.UUCP'. Is this the correct address (uwmacc.UUCP is as it appeared in message 3386)? Is the host down? Requesting information and assistance. Addresses of the form .UUCP are not really supported on DDN yet. However, it will work if you readdress it as jwp%uwmacc.uucp@seismo.css.edu or you may need to use @seismo.arpa depending on your software version.
