Would anyone like to make any comparisons between PC/VENIX for the AT with XENIX. I would be especially interested to here of TCP/IP support on an ethernet and via serial links. -- marty schoffstall schoff%rpics.csnet@csnet-relay ARPA schoff@rpics CSNET seismo!rpics!schoff UUCP martin_schoffstall@TROY.NY.USA.NA.EARTH.SOL UNIVERSENET RPI Computer Science Department Troy, NY 12180 (518) 271-2654

This is great. I *hate* trying to find things in the XENIX documentation, because the manuals have been reorganized so you never know which book to look in. The VENIX manuals are organized as the good old Volume 1, Volume 2, etc. Also, VENIX claims to support any valid hard disk type (which I haven't been able to verify, since I have the vanilla disk). XENIX *only* supports the vanilla disk. -- Larry Campbell decvax!genrad The Boston Software Works, Inc. \ 120 Fulton St. seismo!harvard!wjh12!maynard!campbell Boston MA 02109 / / ihnp4 cbosgd ARPA: maynard.UUCP:campbell@harvard.ARPA
