Both of the above publications still leave a number of questions to be answered solely by trial and error on the part of the programmer. Also, beware of bugs... Like, on the 3B2 a call to echo() is NOT effectual when using wgetstr(), mvwgetstr(), wscanw(), and mvwscanw(); i.e., there is no way for characters to be echoed when using the above functions. echo() and noecho() DO work for getch(), wgetch(), and mvwgetch(), which most people probably use anyhow. === Larry Lippman @ Recognition Research Corp., Clarence, New York === === UUCP {decvax, dual, rocksanne, rocksvax, watmath}!sunybcs!kitty!larry === === VOICE 716/741-9185 {rice,shell}!baylor!/ === === FAX 716/741-9635 {AT&T 3510D} ihnp4!/ === === === === "Have you hugged your cat today?" ===

Sorry, you'll have to learn it >the hard way like the rest of us poor suckers... > Almost hit 'n' but then remembered... AT&T's SV.2 (?) Manuals, that arrived with 3b2's programming package, had extensive curses docs. BUT, their version of curses is much more than our 4.2BSD system provides.
