[net.unix] kanji unix karaoke lyrics

jaw@ames.UUCP (James A. Woods) (12/14/85)

for larry crume, at&t unix pacific, to sing at the karaoke bar:

			little lost parity (traditional)

o where o where have my char codes gone,
o where o where can they be?
with their ascii cut short, and their kanji cut long,
now i watch what i feed to putc()

			ballad of an ascii gaijin
			(from dylan's highway 0261 revisted)

well, the parity swallower he comes up to you and then he sits,
and he crosses himself, and then sets his high bits,
and without further notice he asks you how it fits.

and he says "here is your parity back, thanks for the loan".
and you know something is happening, but you don't what it is,
	do you,
		mr. jones

question/note/reference: (1) what is /usr/src in kanji?
			  (2) 'ken' is a bilingual japanese/american name
			  (3) electronics, december 9, 1985, p.16,
"international unix standard is up and running"

p.s. stay tuned for "kanji-ready" fastfind.
