[net.unix] UUCP between 3B20 and Dual 83/80

pac@mb2c.UUCP (Pat Carney) (01/10/86)

This application has been working fine on a 3B20 to Dual 83/20 setup for
over a year now. The 3B transmits a file to my Dual using the command,
mail systemname!loginname. When the user logs in in the morning, he/she
is notified of mail, types mail, and receives the file for processing. This
is great on the 83/20. However, on the 83/80, the file is stored in the
/usr/spool/uucp directory under a filename of the format, D.systemnameAA1111.
It appears that the file should be stored in the /usr/mail/loginname file so
it can be accessed when the user types 'mail'. Can anyone help??

Forgot to mention that the Dual 83/20 is UNIX Version 7,1.6 and the Dual 83/80
is UNIX System V, Vers 1.3 both UniSoft software.
