Does anybody know where I can find the reference for the UN*X "curses" library given in the man page. The reference given is Screen Updating and Cursor Movement Optimization: A Library Package, Ken Arnold. Having the library there seems pretty useless without knowing exactly what the stuff does. This is number 19 of the supplementary documents distributed with UNIX (at least 4.2) systems. Yes, it is part of the FM.
