[net.unix] Guidebooks on programming in the C-shell: a summary

henry@mit-trillian.MIT.EDU (Henry Mensch) (06/23/86)

I received a few responses to my inquiry regarding guidebooks
for programming in the C shell. The items below are gleaned from the
mail I received in response. Thanks to James Bohem <CONJCB@UCSCVM.BITNET>,
Shane McCarron <meccts!ahby> and Chuq Von Rospach <chuq@sun.COM> for
responding.

A pretty good book is available from Prentice-Hall. It is
called "The Unix(TM) C Shell Field Guide", by Gail and Paul Anderson.
Its catalogue number is 93746-7. You should be able to pick it up in a
computer book store; it can also be ordered from:

	Prentice-Hall International
	Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632

Additionally, there may be nroff sources for documents in
/usr/doc/csh; to use these simply run them through nroff with the -ms
macro set.
