Help! Can anyone out there fill me in on how to specify an absolute screen address using tput? For instance, if I want the cursor to go to the third row, fourth column, what is the proper tput command format? Is this even possible? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks - brianb

If you're talking about the "tput" command from S5R2 (VAX S5R2 Version 1, anyway), it's not possible. "tput" can't deal with parameterized capabilities. -- Guy Harris {ihnp4, decvax, seismo, decwrl, ...}!sun!guy guy@sun.com (or guy@sun.arpa)
