Does anyone know anything about the Change Managenment Tracking System (CMTS) which runs under Unix? Some of our users have come across a reference to it in 'Unix/World' (July 1986), and think it may be of use. Apparently it...... "mechanises change request initiation and tracking. It can be coupled with SCCS to prevent unauthorised changes, for example. It ensures that changes are not lost, misplaced or ignored. It can feed project management systems with information about project status. It automates the audit trail and the collection of quality assurance data, such as programs or modules with reliability or maintainability problems which are candidates for restructuring or rewriting." We would be especially interested in: - any more information on what it does and how it does it; - what it's like to use; - where it can be seen in use; - where it can be obtained; - how much it costs; - etc. Please mail replies to:- ...seismo!mcvax!ukc!stc!idec!alan
