The spreadsheet program "20-20" from Access Technology, Natick Mass., has routines to read in Lotus worksheets. Wordstar is fairly simple to deal with; It sets the high bit on a lot of chars for formatting purposes, so stripping hi bit makes file pure ascii, and thereby usable in virtually any other WP pkg. Lyrix, Uniplex, Emacs all support command binding; with some work, all can be made to look pretty similar to WordStar. Lyrix, Emacs, Uniplex, 20-20 all run on Altos, Plexus, Vax, etc. --Andrew F. Yes but when you remove the WordStar hi bit you destroy the wordwrap ability so that all your files end up with hard carriage returns at end of lines. Plus there are control characters in the file that indicate underline, bold and so onso what you really need is a translator program.
