I've been looking for a decent quality copy that doesn't require arms and legs to purchase it. -- Tad Marko ..!ihnp4!killer!tad || ..!ihnp4!alamo!infoswx!ntvax!tad UNIX Connection BBS AT&T 3B2 North Texas State U. And how about a couple of User's Manuals? You can get all the BSD manuals from the USENIX people. AT&T sells the manuals for System V. The number to call is: 1-800-432-6600 The order codes for the manuals are: Programmers' Reference - 307-116 User Reference Manual - 307-110 ** I will not accept flames if this is supposed to be in mod.newprod ** -- Jim Webb "Out of phase--get help" ihnp4!houxm!hropus!jrw

Umm, I thought that manuals were licensed also. SO ... you can only get 4.2 documentation if you are licensed for 4.2, etc. -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Henry Mensch | Technical Writer | MIT/Project Athena henry@athena.mit.edu ..!mit-eddie!mit-athena!henry

SO ... you can only > get 4.2 documentation if you are licensed for 4.2, etc. I know that you do NOT need any license to purchase user documentation for System V. By "user" documentation, I mean such manuals as the User's Ref and Programmer's References. I know for such beasts as "Feature Card Internals" or some such you do need a source code license, but the majority of the manuals not restricted. As for the 4.2 docs, I remember USENIX selling them to people at the last UniForum in Anaheim. -- Jim Webb "Out of phase--get help" ihnp4!houxm!hropus!jrw
