Yeah, me too.  I've been looking for a decent quality copy that doesn't
require arms and legs to purchase it.

Well, since I me too'd this without filling this in, I think I'll revise
before I get torched (Forgot to pack my asbestos underwear :-).

BSD and SYSTEM V.  And how about a couple of User's Manuals?

You can get all the BSD manuals from the USENIX people.  AT&T sells the
manuals for System V.  The number to call is:
		
			1-800-432-6600

The order codes for the manuals are:

	Programmers' Reference	- 307-116
	User Reference Manual	- 307-110

Umm, I thought that manuals were licensed also.  SO ... you can only
get 4.2 documentation if you are licensed for 4.2, etc.

I know that you do NOT need any license to purchase user documentation for
System V. By "user" documentation, I mean such manuals as the User's Ref
and Programmer's References.  I know for such beasts as "Feature Card Internals"
or some such you do need a source code license, but the majority of the
manuals not restricted.  As for the 4.2 docs, I remember USENIX selling them
to people at the last UniForum in Anaheim.
