I am used to 4.2 BSD running on 11/780s with a couple of meg of memory. Now I want to bring it up on a 11/785 with 32 megabytes of memory. I vaguely remember that a couple of places need to be poked in the kernel to allow for the additional speed and RAM. Could someone send me the changes? Also has anyone tried to start up a system of this type from the original boot tapes? jim PS Of course 4.3 will solve all of my problems!?!? :-) "Work is the Curse of the Drinking Class"
