Certainly.  It's called "news".  Most of the people who are seeing
your message are using it.

Right and wrong!  "news" is unix's orignal, what people are actually
using ( this thing) is called "netnews".  There maybe sites that
replaced 'news' with 'netnews'.  There is another BULLETIN (?) board
source floating around and is called something like "UNaXcess" (?),
which I believe is similar to netnews and can be configured to poll
news from netnews sites.  I wonder how the original message got
posted :-) ?
