In the past I have noted several articles regarding reading tar format tapes from VMS. The responses resulted in methods of passing tar files from unix to vms to unix hosts. I would like to know if there is any s/w which actually allows VMS to convert tar files into VMS files that can be manipulated on VMS hosts. -- Aura Leigh Berquist ...!uwvax!uwmacc!aura or ...!uwmacc!sal70!aura
