I'm going to (very soon) work on a VAX with a bunch of RM05 drives, and place an Emulex SC-7003 controller along with some Fujitsu super eagles into the system. My questions are, since I've done very little system management stuff under BSD 4.x, is there anyone out there that's done this or something similar? I'd like to use the new disks in extended RM02 emulation mode. Do I need to fiddle with a driver, use an existing one, or what? How do I get the disk controller to become a recognized device on the bus, and on and on... If there's anyone that could shed some light on this kind of thing, and wouldn't mind talking with me for a few moments, PLEASE! I need help!!
