Back on this subject, one of Wordsworth's best efforts (in my opinion only eclipsed by Tintern Abbey) was his "Ode on Intimations of Immortality from Memories of Early Childhood". A very pretty poem, in which he argues the certainity of his immortality since he remembered a previous existence in early childhood. A must read (all of Wordsworth is a must read) whether you are interested in the thesis or not. Rick McGeer
