BULLPUCKY!!!!! The idea that silicon valley is a golden mine that the Russians would not bomb is sheer malarky. It is not the technology or the machinery that makes this area valuable, it is the people! I for one do not intend to cooperate with "the Enemy" should he take this area prisoner. I feel (totally subjective opinion), that most others would do the same. That makes the area almost useless to any attacker so he might as well blow it up. In addition, Silicon Valley is also home to a prime military target... Moffet navel air field. They launch the planes that track (and destroy) the subs from there.
