Who are these snivelling sops prattling on about human feelings, "love" (it's always in quotes) and netnews? What does Tannenbaum know about the original intentions of this newsgroup? Why doesn't allegra!james try harder next time? And Arwen, you said you were "being as reasonable as [you] can" but that's still unreasonable. If the people want to die, they're better off dead. rabbit(BANG)bimmler is at it again. Perhaps we should treat him like a spoiled child (which he sounds like) or an obscene phone caller (which he is about as welcome as) IGNORE HIM! (in capital letters, no less) and if he decides to do himself in (why else would he be trying to get attention on net.suicide) let's pretend that we can't hear his cries for help. ``rabbit!<who?>'' Mark T

For all yours inforsmation... The login "rabbit!bimmler" is a mask behind which a coward hides, there is no user on rabbit who normally goes by the name "bimmler." This masquerade is less honorable than that of yale-com!death or Arwen, or any of the others, for these people do not hide behind their names like bimmler and the erewhon!foo family do. I can't mail to rabbit!bimmler or erewhon!foo. The *right* thing to do is to ignore the messages of such people, but I have made exception to this rule in order to make others aware of these goings on.
