In case anyone was wondering about the usefulness of this
newsgroup, let me impart the following tale.
Recently I submitted a article pleading for help for a recent
acquaintance ("Bob") who had found him/her self in a painful
situation. Somehow, through the clammer of pseudonymical jive,
Bob's plight was recognized by a number of individuals as
serious enough to deserve attention. Their advice came through
loud and clear and Bob was much impressed by the efforts on
his/her behalf. The crisis seems over, and Bob seems genuinely
encouraged to move from self-blame towards self-help and I,
for one, count this as a victory for the net.
Thank you all for your kind remarks, especially from a caring
individual at teklabs!tekecs who offered real professional advice.

P.S. Yes rabbit!bimmler DOES suck, and rabbit!jj IS in real danger,
and cbosgd!ccf WAS confused, but thank God they are so entertaining
so as to attract some decent readers to this group. Keep listening,

Pardon me, but I hear that I was in "real danger". Would you please care to enlighten me, I seem to be ignorant of the fact. (As I am, thankfully, ignorant of this silly, abused, news group.) I if someone would be so kind as to point out the article that threatens me, I will read it. I am certainly NOT going to read this damnfool group in order to find out. Not FUBAR.
