There seems to be several obvious reasons for self-destruction: 1. Running from something (can't handle reality anymore, life is too tough, ...) 2. Running to something (religious belief in an afterlife, neurosis, psychosis, ...) 3. Trying to attract attention [not trying to be a successfull suicide] 4. One last thrill (a new experience, the quest for the unknown, fearless bravado) 5. I'll show them (revenge, to make others regret what they said or did to you) 6. Confusion (under pressure - similar to #1) Are there any more reasons? What would the percentages be for the above classes? Personally I could never forsee using any of the above reasons except maybe #4, but then again how well do I know myself? You may ask yourself the same question. Michael Cooley nmtvax!344cool
