[net.suicide] Public Outcry

bimmler (04/10/83)

Well, ihosq!fos, you aren't contributing to MY happiness.
You claim society educated and protects you, and you are wrong on
both counts. Still, thanks for the relays: they let me give you this
message: With life as boring as yours must be, most people wouldn't
need suicide; their bodies would just give up quietly.

You've made your contribution to society. Let's hope you've also
finished contributing to net.suicide.

Now for something a little better organized: I want everyone to
post 100 words or so explaining why ihosq!fos should stop
public justification of his tedious existence.

I would ordinarily MAIL this reply, but BB-brainler insists on slandering
(libeling?) me on the net when I do.

BIMMLER, PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH AND DO US ALL A FAVOR!

We are all sick and disgusted by the way ONE pea-brained idiot
with a loud mouth and an infantile craving for attention is
befouling this newsgroup with its putrid commentary, which, it
should be obvious, reflects only on the author or the literary
excrement that it produces. Be Gone. Go To. SCAT! Go pump
your stomach all over the ARPANet, but leave us the heck alone.

nuf sed?

Besides paying back what debts I have to society, I have fun.
My husband and I enjoy cooking and giving parties, I play
in a local orchestra, and I sometimes do volunteer work in
hospitals. And so forth; life is far from dull for me, since
I take part in constructive activities.

Few affect the happiness of any large segment of the world,
and fewer still in a constructive way. I see no reason to be
ashamed that I don't.
